Excellent erotic image - nice use of lighting and contrast. I like the strong focus. Only change I would recommend is a solid colored pump- preferably teal to match her top. The leopard print gets a little lost against the light colored couch.
Now that you mention it the leopard print does get lost in this picture. It would've been more balanced if the shoe had matched her top. I was quite pleased with the soft shadows and lighting too, though I say it myself.
There's no doubt that its an erotic image, but in spite of that I wasn't expecting it to cause any great controversy in this day and age.
Well said Deadmanenlightened, any whingeing people who don't like what they see, go elsewhere. You don't have to view these photos if you don't like them. As for me I only see a beautiful nude lady showing her sexuality which after all is only what nature has given us. So get a life whingers and go and view Bambi photos or something.
I'm not overly bothered about people being critical. Even though I suppose this is one of the most overtly sexual photo's that I've uploaded I wasn't expecting such a lot of negative comment. I always ensure that my uploaded photo's are within the DA rules, and always mark them as "mature content" (if they are). Perhaps DA should have different levels and types of filter so that people casually browsing, who genuinely don't want to see anything "untoward", will be able to filter more effectively. However I think many people are hypocritical in this respect and just pretend to be offended.
Sounds like you have a good tolerance level as know many people do get upset with the negative comments but I totally agree with everything you say, DA could improve their levels of filter. Likewise people also like to moan for the sake of it and your hypocritical comment is spot on. Thanks for coming back to me and I am glad you haven't taken things to heart. I am many like me I'm sure appreciate your work and others who contribute on here.
Since you have blocked me from replying I will put my reply to your next comment here ...
You don't have to explain, I'm not entirely dense. But why am I not an artist? There are plenty of ways of being an artist. I thought the title of this photo was particularly noteworthy, and the image itself has some artistic merit.
I would say anyone who asks those question should ask why they're looking at these pics if there is a problem with it. When is it pornography? When the beholder says it is. But if you don't like it, don't look at it.
Yup. I'm not bothered about splitting hairs trying to define pornography and the difference between it and art. I don't believe that porn images are likely to cause harm, no matter what. But I do like to keep within the DA guidelines.
