To The Dark Hills

Description

Near Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.

This apparently secluded spot is only a few kilometers away from the bedlam of Sunny Beach in Bulgaria.

At this very moment I'm enjoying that bedlam, at less that two Euros for a large draft Zagorka.

Over all - Great evening shot. The initial impact isn't there, but you see more of it the more you look at it (which is easily done without getting bored of it quickly). Also sets nice seasonal tone.

subject - I would think the path maybe the strong subject. If not it brings your eyes through the photo to the tree line which takes you through the rest of the photo, almost like a tour guide.

color- while not very bright or huge contrast in colors, you do get some nice warm colors from the plants. nice sunset colors as well. its very subtle and calming.

details - while not everything is in clear focus the pathway is. I think this is like your narrator guiding you through the photo. the more you look, the more details you see.

grounds- your background, middle ground, and foreground are all distinct, yet they lead you from one to the other. again like a guide through a journey.

please keep in mind I am not a pro. this is just my opinion, very nicely done.
